What is The Coffee Philosophy

The Coffee Philosophy is all about life improvement - you may call it personal growth, personal development, self improvement or self help, but in the end of the day its just about finding a way to improve something about yourself or your life. You see it's in our nature, everybody has an inherent desire to grow, to improve and be all they can be.

The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream.
The oak sleeps in the acorn.
The bird sleeps in the egg.
In the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs.
Dreams are the seedlings of reality.
James Allen - As a man thinketh

Ask yourself this....

  • Do you want more love and happiness or less?
  • Do you want more money or less?
  • Do you want better health or less?

Hopefully you got the idea, you want MORE not less!

The funny thing is that to create a change can be simpler that you think.

William James (a pioneering American psychologist) put it well when he said

The greatest discovery of any generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitude.

There is no doubt in our mind (from all the research and our own experiences) that the way you think and the attitude you assume has a major impact on the way your life will turn out. This is where the Philosophy aspect comes in, we like to use the term Philosophy to describe your "Prime Directive", the dominant thinking system and attitudes that forms your identity, character and experience of life.

Jim Rohn (America's Foremost Business Philosopher) put this succinctly

Your personal philosophy on life is the major determining factor on how your life will work out. it shapes your life and draws to you the results that reflect it. To get the best results from life choose to adopt a great philosophy.

Everyone has a philosophy, whether they realise it or not. If you have a Philosophy that you'd like to share we'd love to hear it.

So what does the Coffee part stand for?

Whether you drink coffee or not doesn't matter, it just represents the time we take to talk about what matters in life. We love to sit in a Coffee shop and talk about philosophy or anything else that leads to a greater quality of life.

We don't claim to be Gurus

We're just like you, we're real people who just have a natural desire to seek more, to grow and to improve in any way we can. I (Karl Rogan) began this journey began in 1998, back then I was struggling to hold things together, life was tough and I just didn't know what to do. I started with the odd self-help book which gave me hope that I could turn things around, but unfortunately I struggled to implement any practical application of the information. The one good thing was it motivated me and that kept me looking for more.

Ten years later and I now have thousands of books, videos and audio training materials, this extensive library contains materials covering Success, Happiness, Financial Investments and Prosperity, The Laws of the Universe (i.e. Law of Attraction), Psychology, Neuro-Science, NLP, Relationships, Spirituality, Nutrition, Physical Health, Mental Health. These resources have been produced by the greatest authors and speakers, people like Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Jack Canfield, Bob Proctor, James Ray, Robert Kyosaki, Dali Lama, Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, Learning Strategies Corporation and Nightingale-Conant.

You see we've been studying the best sources out there for over 10 years, we've been searching for the stuff that works and asking the question why? Then we cut through the waffle and get to the fundamental building blocks, from here we established a foundation from which all self-improvement education is founded upon. Back in 1998 I wish I had a structured and logical path to follow, something that began with simple concepts and fundamentals before jumping into all sorts of crazy new ideas and principles.

Our Promise

We'll cut through the crap, and get to the stuff that really matters, we'll then structure it in such a way that it makes sense, you'll be able to see the reason why what we propose is so important.

In addition to this we'll be following the market and testing and reporting on new strategies, concepts and products. The Self-Help Market is flooded with information and services to change your life, and we know from experience that there is a fair amount of garbage out there.

We promise there'll be no BS, and we will only promote products and services that we know are good for our members.

In the end we're here to inspire you to greater things, to provide you a sanctuary that focuses on giving you great results.

So whether you're looking for improved happiness, money, success, health and relationships or your just a little off path and need some direction then I'm sure you'll find something to help you here at The Coffee Philosophy.

Who Are We

The Coffee Philosophy was born in January 2008 by a small group of Web developers who just love personal development.

In September 2008, Karl Rogan and Douglas Masters took control of the project in order to help the current team fulfill its potential.

Karl Rogan

Karl is a self improvement coach, having studied NLP to Master Practitioner he also enjoys Meditation, Qi Gong and Photo Reading. He has studied the teachings of thousands of authors on the look out for the real treasure, the stuff that makes a difference. Having transformed himself from the darker side of life he's now venturing into the unknown using the strategies he developed and refined over the last 10 years. The Coffee Philosophy is Karl's way to share his ideas and strategies and the strategies of others, he hopes this will inspire you and help you find everything you seek in life.

Douglas Masters

Douglas is not a professional guru who has written several best selling books, he is like many of you, he has a real world job and like everyone he has his good and bad days. Douglas doesn't have any other agenda aside from continuing to learn, develop, and share his passion and experiences, he hopes that by doing so, more people will connect and see the benefits of sharing their Coffee Philosophy.

This quote inspired us to follow what we really believed in

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life.
Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking.
Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice - and most important - have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
They somehow already know what you truly want to become.
Everything else is secondary.
